Originally from Ghana, Eric Manu honed his craft as a barber in his Silver Spring, Maryland before relocating to the Frederick. With a passion for barbering deeply rooted in his cultural heritage, Eric envisioned creating a space that provided top-notch grooming services and barbering.

In 2020, amidst the challenges posed by the global pandemic, Eric took a bold step and opened Afri-starr Babershop in Frederick. Despite the uncertainties of the times, Eric’s dedication to his craft and his commitment to providing exceptional customer service propelled his business forward.
