On Saturday, Midar Cigars opened on Carroll Street with the help of the City of Frederick, the SOUL Street Collective, and community.

Owner Darren Sheffield launched a cigar lounge that includes a beer and wine component. The space has lounge seating and televisions that create a comfy vibe.

Councilman Kavonte Duckett presented the City of Frederick proclamation to the business the previous day at the ribbon cutting.

Along with cigars, Sheffield is involved in many other businesses like cars and beauty. Midar Cigars is open Tuesday through Sunday. Check ‘em out!
