Above Elements is a platform for Frederick battle rap culture. And last month, local rappers battled at Frontline, its second event. Check out the recap!
Above Elements is a platform created by nameless., a fellow battle rapper and creator. Battle rapping is currently the priority of the brand with goals to expand to music, videos, clothing and any other form of expression. The first rap battle event was entitled “No Games” earlier this year.
“The level of talent that’s developing in Above Element is nothing to sleep on. I feel the battles and content speak for themselves…” ~ nameless.
There were three rap battles set for the night held at Cafe 611, one of them being Pops versus Lavish.
Pops versus Lavish was a competitive battle full of personals, word play & heavy punchlines. Pops was able to showcase his seasoned performance skill and Lavish was able to highlight his writing skills through his delivery. Watch the video below:
